WSB-TV Interview Request

DeKalb School Watch received a media request to interview parents about the start of school. If you are interested, please contact:

Before you give your time, keep in mind that this is likely a feel-good, puff piece. Do you want to be part of that blather? WSB and other Atlanta media are not investigative media.

Any takers who will tell us about the glorious opening of schools in DeKalb? No, I didn’t think so.

Well, WSB-TV posted this to their website: “Thurman says this will be best year for DeKalb Schools”:

Watch how Thurmond repeatedly squeezes and does not take his arm off of Principal Wilson. It is very inappropriate behavior and extremely creepy.

Also, near the end of the interview, watch how Thurmond stops smiling and is visually peturbed because Principal Wilson goes off-script. She explains that Midvale is an IB school and that there are only three IB schools in DCS.
