2013-2014 Enrollment Info
FWIW, Kittredge demographics are as follows:
Of the 415 students who attend, 20% Black / 57% White / 4% Hispanic / 14% Asian / 4% Other
Kittredge is supposed to be a county-wide magnet — pulling from all over and all schools.
So, contrast Kittredge’s demographics with those of the county’s entire system:
98,298 students enrolled in Pre-K-12. Of those, 66,256 or 67% are Black / 10,881 or 11% are White / 13,410 or 14% are Hispanic / 5,773 or 6% are Asian / and 1,978 or 2% are ‘Other’.
But, then again, DSA (327 students) is a 100% magnet and it’s 59% B / 34% W / 3% H / 2% A / 2% O
DeKalb Elementary School of the Arts (516 students) 98% Black
Arabia (1,276 students) – 100% magnet and it’s 97% B / 1% H / 1% O
Wadsworth (232 students) – 91% B / 5% O
DSW has a post with these demographics for you all to see:
